Lost predictive text-HTC Desire

Running opendesire 3.2 and all was good. Messing about I installed a package for voice that chompsms said was need for voice(dont know why i installed it, wouldn't use it) any way Ive lost my predictive text in all applications not sure what to do to get it back......I'm not a marathoner, I just like run on sentences.
