Loose powder - how much would you spend?

I normally try and get fairly decent moisturiser and good foundations but I would skimp on loose powder. I've run out now and was wondering should I splurge a little and get a good loose powder or do they all pretty much the same job?

Any recommendations would be great? thanks:D

One thing I find about more expensive loose powders is that they last and last and last. So Whilst it might be a big outlay initially you'll get your money back:)

I cannot recommend the two Clinique loose powders highly enough, they are absolutely amazing.

A more portable option would be Smashbox Halo powder, this grinds the powder as you go so there is less mess. This is a really nice loose powder also but it is a bit on the pricey side. I like it for out and about but I'd honestly prefer the Clinique one:)
