am looking for some advice from anyone here...i signed up to a providers billpay. all was well until for a few months then i noticed the bills were getting bigger and bigger, turns out they had overcharged me on a couple of occasions for data bundles and costs, which was incorrect.
after much dragging of their heels they reversed the charges. then the same thing happened with the next bill. and the next. after calling them, the service was pretty much rubbish, on hold for ages, promised phone calls from supervisors within 24 hours, never happened. basically the service was complete ****e. like utter ****e. so i said screw this, switched to someone, else turned my original bill fone off, goodbye.
of course as i am in a contract they are still billing me. but im not gonna pay them. i just feel they didnt fulfil their side of contract which was to provide a decent phone service. in fact they failed miserably and i would really begrudge giving them any more money.
does any1 know what would happen if i put the bills back in the post box with 'changed address' marked on them? they are unopened. i have 2 bills so far, and a solicitors letter, all unopened.

Vodafone have an official forum on Boards, while o2 has an official representive.

If either of these is your network, then let us know and we can help get you more focussed answers.

With respect to your contract, you are still in contract and therefore liable for the charges. Ignoring their letters and bills is not the way to go. There may be ways out of the contract, but we need to know which provider you are with first.

They did provide you with the phone service; your complaint is about the customer support and I'm quite certain there is nothing in your contract about SLs etc. there. Hence you are liable for the costs as your contract is still fulfilled.

You are liable for the bills and for the duration of your contract.

If you are having issues with cost, etc, then they can deal with that, and issue refunds where appropriate.

Ignoring the bills/letters just won't work, and may end up with you going to court and then having to also pay legal fees too.
