This probably belongs moreso in Consumer Affairs but its quite relevant to buying online throughout the EU so I thought here was more apt.

I didn't really hear about this till a few weeks back but a mate told me today he won a case against some Slovakian airline company for a flight ticket that was never refunded despite them saying them would do it.

Seems like this is a good channel for those who are unhappy about goods/services in the EU- you can claim for up to 2,000 euro so most online purchases would be covered. Pity it doesn't cover some of the cheap tat that comes out of Hong Kong on Fleabay- now some of that gear really gets my goat....=(
