Hi, I live in Lusk, Co. Dublin. Is there anywhere local that will accept 2nd hand books such as a charity shop? I don't want to go to the bother of selling them, would rather just drop a box of them off and preferably to a good cause.

    Thanks

Try your nearest Oxfam bookshop. Failing that, go to Chapters on Parnell st. You'll get a few quid for them, but I doubt you'll be paying down much of your mortage with the proceeds either.
