    hi all,
our integrated microwave doesnt heat anymore, all the power still goes on and the platter spins etc... everything really except for the heating process. Dont want to fork out for a new one as they are quite expensive so we're looking for advice on where to get it fixed. We are in D15 area.
    thanks

How old is it? What make is it? It might not be worth repairing depending on it's condition

Either an internal fuse failure, or magnetron failure IMO.

If it was the fuse there would be no power at all,or so I think. Sounds like the heating element in it(or the equivalent),I'm not sure if there are or what elements in microwaves are like. Ring up wherever you bought it and see if they would put a call through to Hoover for you and see how much it might be. As I said in another thread, you can get a very good Nordmende one for 199 if it isn't worth repairing.
