Just spotted on the GUI website - Great value to be had at the big course in Adare for the open week starting Sun 15th and running for the week - including Open fourball for 50 squids each and the singles from the tiger tees for 50 euro, just rang to book a time and the timesheet is starting to fill up. Great course for these rates.

    Nice spot.
BTW for such a good golf course their website is appallingly bad.

Terrible website for such a big name course.

I book for spots today for the Sunday Singles Open at €55 per head. Excellant value and can't wait to get out and play it. Planning to travel down from Dublin in the morning and back in the evening.

    Thanks for the heads up.

Playing the 'Back Tees Classic' on the Sunday. I know a few lads who played in this before and they said it's a bit unfair. But it is what it is and I know what to expect before I ever tee it up. Just hoping the weather holds up. Played there before from the medal tees and really enjoyed it. 34 points that day so I might scrape 24pts on the 15th!!

will every day be from the back tee's . looking at the yardage book and the yardage from the blue tees is 7125 yards , thats very long

No, Back Tees Classic is only on the Sunday AFAIK.

The course is actually 7453 yards from the blue markers according to their website:

A couple of the par 4's will play like par 5's, maybe more than a couple depending on the wind. What the heck. It'll be an experience!!

Just back from playing there today, it's in fabulous shape and greens are rolling really well.

This sounds too good to be true. 55 quid for that course, weather supposed to be smashing also. I played there last year and it's definitely the best parkland course in the country, The K Club wouldn't lace its boots. Just booked a fourball for Sunday afternoon, sweet.
