    Hi,

I had a one term contract with a university to lecture a number of subjects.. I corrected the final exams, and set repeat papers out of courtesy. However I am no-longer on the payroll of the university and have a job elsewhere.

Am I obligated to correct the repeat exams?

    Thanks

I suppose it would depend if your contract stated it was terminated at a certain date or if it was terminated when the module was completed. If its the latter you might need to correct, if its the former I would say no.

Thanks delta_bravo, I had a fixed term contract, I don't have a copy of it, so am unsure as to the exact wording...

In the long run i suppose i'll be better off if i just correct them - to avoid burning bridges.

Yeah in this climate I suppose its good to finish on good terms. I'm sure you wont have too many to correct (I hope!)

You should be able to get a copy of your contract from the HR department. You should have been given a copy when you signed it, anyway, but if they didn't give you one, they can't refuse to give you a copy of your own work contract!
