KWA M4 QUESTION

    HI ALL,

    I have an M4 that im getting an RIS System and crane stock for. Im taking it apart, trying to work out how im going to install the new bits and rewire it, but i have no idea how to remove the front sights/ silver bar or how to rewire it. Youtube is no help because im just getting a bunch of kids telling me how great their gun is and what it can shoot through at 500 fps or something mad.

    If i remember correctly all you need to do is tap the sight forward far enough to so the the silver bar comes out its hole and ring on the upper receiver. I could not find any other way but to screw it off but this leaves marks on the barrel.

    You dont have to rewire it as the RIS will hold a 11v 10v 7v lipo.

    The crane stock may also cause a problem as KWA have machined the last 50mm to be approx 0.5mm thicker that the rest of the peace that the stock fit on to. It can be done just grind it down to fit. You may also have to shorten the fixing screw to fit. Hope this is a help.

    many thanks man. that m4 looks sweeeeet!
    so i do not ned a crane stock, just the ris rail system? can you give me a link to what kind of barrety i need to put in it then? I dont own any batts :)
    what length does the ris have to be? trying to buy one here on boards? ;)

    There is a bit of work in coversion of the ris (removal of the delta ring ect)and as I said some more work in gettin some buffer tubes and attachments to fit. The ris in the top pic is from a dboys. Most stocks should fit over the kwa buffer tube. Can I take it ur not to use to swaping parts. If not kwa can be funny. Everything seems to be half a mil to big or small. Lipos are easly got in most of the stores around. This said there are some risks involved in there use. 11v lipo and charger is the best but this comes with warnings.

    yeah i have heard about those 11 v lipos. pretty insane rof off them. But as a sniper I would be ashamed if i couldnt hit my enemies with 18 bbs a second when it works off my mates 8.4 :) many thanks for all the help
