Mine is about a futuristic amusement park where dinosaurs are brought to life through advanced cloning techniques. I call it "Billy and the Cloneasaurus."

It is a sci-fi set in the future. The setting is a city that can float in the air. Our protagonist, a lower-class citizen has the job of procuring bolts that fall out when the bottom of the buildings become unstable. It's a world where everyone flies through the air. One day, he lands upon a piece of ruined earth that was once known as the 'surface', where he finds many dead bodies strewn about in pieces. Layabouts, doctors and their mistresses, nightlife hermaphrodites and normal office workers, all different kinds of corpses. Because all of the people in this age are cyborgs, the bits and pieces of their bodies are, of course, machinery. Walking through this 'surface' littered with dead bodies, our hero comes across a vagrant. This vagrant is actuall the son of the first prince and seventh princess, who suddenly vomited forth a a dragon in the middle of a meal. Oh, but his actual father is, of course, the forty-sixth high chamberlain. This sets the stage for the Earth Defense Force to appear. The EDF gives our hero a Galactic Nuclear Fusion Laser in order to defeat the bio-zombies that are currently overrunning the underworld. This is when he hears the shocking truth. The world he knows is actually what remains after nuclear war destroyed 99% of all humanity. Humanity migrated to other stars to escape the killer radiation. Oh, but this is in the future set two thousand years after the time of the floating city. Anyway, after a near-fatal battle with giant mutant gorillas, our hero comes across an outdoor bath. It's basically a huge outdoor bath tucked in between two huge rock walls, just like the Grand Canyon. As he walks about this bath, he comes to a giant tomb. Around the tomb he sees five thousand beautiful naked women dancing a ritualistic dance. For he had actually walked into a woman's bath.

Note to self: No more topic posting until you have sobered up from the nights activies......

That said, Hi DC. But that's a little Jurassic Parky, no?

How about the dinos can read all our thoughts. But only during the day. At night they are our spouses, kids, neighbors, local grocers.....just think of the horrific possibilities....

I'm in shock you came up with such a thing DC

Set on a inter-galactic battlecruiser, its been 9 months since they left Earth, have just arrived in Sector 3, the Earth league has stepped in to liberate the planets in this sector from their evil overlords. There are mechs but they are not that well armoured and since the enemies have a habit of using Ieds and has armour piercing ammo the death rates are sky high. Everyone is over 18, and no one under 25 is an officer and there is not one single character that even looks younger than 18. Throughout the course of the series, it will start to dawn on the viewers and maybe a few of the characters that they are not really liberating Sector 3 but are rather simply invading it. Earth League is based in our Solar System, terraforming only partially worked on Mars and Venus but not enough to provide a second earth. Earth desperately needs another homeland preferably in Sector 3. Some of the characters will question this but they don't stop fighting because they really don't have any choice, well it will appear that way, 'humanity must survive blah blah blah'. If anime wants to ever be considered a serious medium, then it kind of needs to deal with hard and unpalatable issues such as Japan's conduct during World War II and this anime would raise those issues in an indirect fashion.

I'd just go for a good ole generic ecchi.

I honestly can't think of a setting for an ecchi that hasn't been done before, so let's go for a group of girls decide to set up a soccer team with hilarious consequences

That sounds VERY interesting. Would there be room for a possible love story subplot?

There would be room for a love story, but it won't be the usual unrequited rubbish. They will need something to keep their minds of the horrors of war but a lot of the soldiers will have families and sweethearts at home, a lot of romancing could be done in flashback.

Would they have normal hair color or the often used (but interesting) strange hair colors?

Do I really have to come up with an original idea for an anime?

Because I'd just make an anime adaption of Pokémon Special...

It's 2025. The world's climate shift took a toll for the worse, beginning a mini ice age. The worlds resources are dried up and renewable power has not emerged as the replacement for fossil fuels; the climate has prevented flowing water and basking sunrays to help push for it. Millions have perished from the intensity. The world faces doom and isolation and years of frozen wasteland unless something can be done.

Japanese scientists attempted to construct a mirror and place it in orbit to reflect the suns rays on vital points in an attempt to melt some of the ice and kick start the earth's climate shift. All went horribly wrong, and as a result the mirror's direction was miscalculated and with far too much intensity, creating basically a killer beam that's been destroying the forestry of the Amazon.

This anime follows 4 characters, 1 ragtag (main character, Neko) a nobody pulled from the frozen streets of Hiroshima after saving a scientists life in a robbery, whom have been sent on a mission to rotate and retreive the mirror. The show would involve ship hauling testing flights, where our main protagonist suffers a severed arm during a crash landing. Subsequently all space flight attempts to retrieve the mirror was halted until a suitable replacement was found. Through sheer determination and a fond heart for his fellow crew, Misuki, Neko travels with a severed limb and continues his mission to save the earth from disaster. And what happens up there, well, the rest is up to you (though I have a fair idea what :P)
