Enough Bad News

    I've had enough of bad news. The recession, unemployment, corrupt politicians, the sh*t health service, people being murdered etc etc.

    I have decided to try and avoid news at all costs.

    No newspapers, avoid the TV news, every current affairs programme, no radio in the car ( except music ).

    Has anybody tried this ? Are there anymore things I need to avoid ?

    You left out people.
    People talk about bad news,so you may as well become a hermit if you want to avoid it totally.

    People read newspapers in pubs/ news channels can be on in the corner. You'll have to avoid pubs too. :pac:

    Was thinking about storing a link straight to AH on boards and avoid the real news and go straight to "whether fat people find other fat people attractive" type news :)

    Yes. Got rid of telly etc. Easily do-able.
