Ever been asked for the 1 or 2c over on petrol?

I was in a petrol station in Mullingar today and was very careful to get it up to the required 30e .... however as hard I tried it went 2c over. 'Oops' I thought oh well, always happens. So I went in with the 30 bills and gave your man the money with him still looking expectently at me .... so I said 'do you want the 2c?'…

After 15 years of motoring I've never been asked for the 1-2c you go over. Even if I ask them do they want it. I walked out of the place with a mouth that would have made kids within a 30m radius cry.

why didn't you just leave your fill 2c short? Everyone goes over, no-one goes under..
