If a Primary teacher is permanantly employment with Provisional recognision because teaching degree was completed in UK and they have been employed by the department for 10 years what pay scale should they be on.

Also once the Irish requirement is completed (SCG) is there any

    1. Back pay ?
    2. Increase in salary?
    3. Additional allowances?

Is there also any Tax or means to off set the cost of completing the SCG exam (E.G Exam fees, 3 weeks in Gaeltacht)

Is there a way from the pay slip to see what Pay scale you are actually on

There is a SCG forum on www.educationposts.ie . Register there and post your question, you'll probably get a better answer than you would here.

EDIT: This page would suggest that you don't get a payrise on completion of the SCG.
