anyone else feel like their new iPhone 4 has suicidal tendencies? Turn my back on the damn thing for less than a min and its trying to slide off the armchair! Like trying to take care of a newborn.

Only 8 more weeks I guess tho, and it will have a lovely friction-full case.

I think mine is alive. It slides for no reason some time!

Yeah, it's nuts. I went and bought a cheap case from one of the chinese mobile shops on Parnell St while I wait for the free Apple one. Never had a case on my 3GS but with the death grip and the sliding, it's pretty much essential now.

I was in the car last night, put the phone on the dash for a second. Slidey slidey!
I caught it in time though.

Mine slid off my car seat the day after i got it and slid down beside the hand brake. It must have caught on the metal seat runner because I have my first scratch on the screen. Barely noticeable but has put me in a bad humour! Beware, these babies can scratch easily!

no scratch on the screen but on the back, and that was just from putting it in my pocket, with nothing else in the pocket...so it is in the shirt pocket all the time now...only trouble is i need to make sure I hold it if i bend over otherwise it is slidey outta there...
