Hey,

I bought a Sony Vaio VGN-N38Z/W when I started college. But now I'm going away and need a lighter laptop so im leaving this one here for my parents to use, but all they want is a webcam and the one i bought wont work.

The webcam just says it is incompatible. It is a jWIN (JC-AM300) webcam, apparently a cheap enough one.

I rang up about it and they say some webcams just dont work with some computers

Has anyone got any ideas of a webcam that would work? Or should I just try sell this laptop and buy a cheap one with a built-in webcam?
