UPC VOIP and existing phones

Hi Guys i have UPC BB and at the weekend got in the phone as well, but i only noticed when the installers left that they had set up the already existing hands-free phone so that i could make calls but i can't accept calls Is this because the original company is still involved and when they go it will work or does anyone…
