Teletext

Ive a hd sky plus box and I had teletext working on rte via the scart lead, but know it wont work. Ive tried the rf cable into the tv and that doesn't solve anything, ive tried the sky and the tv remote also.

The teletext works in my room and my parents room(via the magic eye), its ran of an ordinary sky plus box.

try refitting the scart lead.

and is the sky box set to output via scart? and not hdmi.

John I do use the hdmi most of the time but the scarts just for my parents to press sky and scart control kicks in.

If I output to the scart will this effect the hdmi set up? If not, how do i do that? Thanks

put in the scart lead, and then switch over to the scart connection i.e. Av1 or equivalent on your tv...now press the tv button on your sky remote and then hit the text button and it should display the analog teletex for you..

Done that thanks and it doesn't work.

i've had the same problem but powering off the box at the mains usually sorts it out for me.

Excellent done the job, the ole plug out the plug trick works after all these years lol.
