    Depends on your policy.

I asked my insurance company (Quinn) one time, they said I was because I had a valid mot on the car at the time. It was basically so I could prove road worthiness. But you would have to ask your insurance company to be sure.

as with most questions of this ilk, the only way to be sure is to check your policy documents.

Normally - not having an NCT does NOT invalidate your insurance.

    Ask your Insurance Company?

Hrm... ask your insurance copany, as your NCT is not only out of date, but your car has failed the NCT. Does it have a sticker put on it by the NCT people?
