    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

That one will blow away unless secured. Slightly more sofisticated small greenhouses (with shelves, including bottom shelf) are regularly available in Aldi / Lidl for a only couple of euro more than that. Anyway, it's too late in the season to start growing tomatoes :)

I picked this one up in woddies a few months back... U do gotta secure them tho as the slightest bit of wind catches them...

Is it worth it at that price? I was thinking maybe I could use Argos one for just general plants too but obviously shelving is better.

I got a few green one's too but kids get so excited when they see them that they pull them off... (I am talking about tomato's here - that sentence migth read funny if someone is not up to speed on the thread) think they mix them up with the little green apples on the tree out front... no telling them.

These plastic greenhouses are maybe good for one year and that's it - the plastic covers perish and tear so all your left with is a frame; which is fairly useful. Will let you know next spring if that lasted another winter ;)

Give it time, The Freeman. A bit more patience :)

I've had a red tomato this week, but it was a fluke. I can't normally start harvesting until the end of August or so. And you'll have until October (before the first frost) for them to ripen. And even if not ripe, you can harvest the green tomatoes, keep them in a paper bag somewhere dark with a green banana and check every day for a few more ripe ones :D

Hey, ever heard of "Fried Green Tomatoes"?

Lots of other recipes, like relish, soup, etc
