my mate bought a new bike and while it's a nice bike (Orion) when he freewheels it clicks/ticks like a feckin rattlesnake. Really annoying. Very loud. It's the new ultegra 6700 groupset on it. Is it the bike, the cassette or the groupo in general that makes it so loud? anything he can do to shut it up? Cheers, D

Sounds like the reassuringly expensive sound of a good groupset ;)

Probably the freehub on the Fulcrum Racing 7 wheels. I have noticed fulcrums being loud before.
    My Mavic Aksiums are moderate.
My Shimano hubbed Wheels are very quite.

While he is freewheeling, you can pedal off and meet him at the end of the loop at the pub. Alternatively, you should buy him a nice set Easton or DuraAce wheels, as they have a nice quiet freehub
