    Hi,

My Sky+ box wont show any channels, when I turn on any channel the screen just stays blue and says ''there is a technical fault with this channel please try later''the search and scan banner stays on the screen and no picture comes on,when I try to play anything that I have recorded in the planner nothing happens either,oh and theres no background music on the menu either.
The bill is paid and up to date so we haven't been disconnected.

The digibox itself is only about a year and a half old.

Anybody have any idea what the problem might be?

    Firstly U havent been disconnected.

Check all the leads are in place....and if so simply try unplugging the sky box from the mains completely...leave it out for approx 2-3 mins and then plug it back in..

The box will stay in standby for about 2more mins before it will switch back on so be patient...hopefully it will boot back up and all will be ok,..

Its a common enough problem, dont know why these seem to just get confused from time to time, unplugging them resets there microprocessors and usually sorts out the problems...

Glad you got it sorted at least...
