    Hi,

I would love if anybody has any ideas or suggestions for me.

I am a student. I'm 24 and have had a couple of different jobs here and there.. bar work, office stuff and right now i am waitressing for the summer.

All of my jobs have one thing in common, when i leave i just can't switch off from work.

It's Just a job i go to get money (like a lot of people) but i constantly think about it.

anything from oh god what will my hours be like next week, where will i be working, to thinking about my coworkers things they say or do, thinking about my manager and imaginary conversations id have with her about certain things. the list goes on but you get the jist.

I keep trying to put in perspective. Its a temporary summer job..why is it consuming so much of your time?

I do have plenty other things to think about - a full life and i try to make as many plans as possible when i am not working so as not to have time to think about work but it always creeps in to a point where i don't feel like i have left or i hav built it up so much that im dreading going in when its grand whwn i get there.

im really at my wits end and i know i only have 8 weeks left of this full time job but i really want to get help with this now because well lets face it i will have other jobs and it seems this is a bit of a pattern.

So please, please give me any ideas or suggestions. I would really appreciate it. This is becoming a huge problem for me.
