    Hi folks,

Lidl nappies are on sale this week - 2 for €10 for all sizes - I think this is a great bargain, as I find they are fantastic nappies - better than pampers and much better than huggies imo.

Also, they have pull ups 2 for €8 and their wipes are 2 for €2 (also find these are great quality and perhaps better than other well known brands.

That's good to hear at the time when Tesco are hiking the price of nappies.

Do Lidl have a 'size 6' nappy size?

the active ones, junior big say size 6 but I don't know if that's the same as other nappies as I have only ever used lidl ones

Thanks. Still wondering though is that 2x28 or 2x56 for €10? The ad isn't entirely clear because it says its 18c per unit which would suggest 2x28 which isn't super cheap. I got some at the weekend in Tescos at 11c per nappy.

I am pretty sure that the price per nappy is the "normal" price and does not account for 2 for €10 special offer.

Quality wise how would they be compared to the likes of pampers ?

Tried them yesterday and they are ok. Not as soft as Pampers. I'm gonna try using them during the day and keep the Pampers for overnight use.

    The ones I bought were 56 x 2 packs for 10E.

Have to agree. Today was the first day we used them and they don't look as breathable as Pampers so hoping it doesnt give the baby a rash. It'll take a few days before we can make much of a judgement.

Good elastic and soakage so for the price are good. Maybe on a par with Huggies but would rate Pampers Baby Dry higher based on Pampers being softer and more breathable.

My dd used them for a couple of years - is now in their pull ups at night as almost toilet trained, and I found them great for her - I used pampers with her every now and then when there were good offers on, but always found these better soakage wise. To be fair though, I'm not sure which type of pampers, as the cheaper ones prob were not on as good offers.

My son is 13 months and since 4 months or so has used these, and have rarely had a leak and has never any bad nappy rash in these or the pampers. He used pampers at the start as his kind uncle gave him several boxes as a gift...

From what I have heard, they are better soakage wise than huggies, but as for comfort, if I hear him complaining, I'll presume its time to change...or finish him in nappies!
