I use this product: Aloe Vera Eye Bright Gel and I find it absolutely brilliant.

I was given a skincare pack as a present with this in it though and it]s not too cheap at £15, but it worth the money and lasts ages.

I got mine two weeks ago and I only dab it around my eyes twice a day and I have enough left to get me through to the end of this year, maybe even the start of next year lol.

If you can get yourself anything with Aloe Vera (even an Aloe Vera plant) and squeeze the 'juice'/'liquid' from the plant and use it, it's also fantastic at keeping wrinkles at bay!

I had a few wrinkles under my eyes and they have start to go away since I've started using the Aloe Vera gel. I am 19, btw.

I'm 21 but have the same problem, dark dark circles.

I've tried everything from that garnier pen, teabags on my eyes, serious concealer, 10 hour sleeps, and nothing worked.

I found out I was really low in iron so have started on iron pills and with the help of guinot eye cream, it's really really improved.

No longer do I have eyes that rival those of a terrorist.

Was logging online this morning with the intention of posting this exact thread..was nearly duped into buying the garnier caffeine yoke out of desperation yesterday, my dark circles are driving me mad!

Will try the aloe application for sure

Its a bit on the pricey side, but Cliniques All About Eyes is fantastic.

I've started using Green Angel Seaweed and Aloe Vera eye gel. Have to say I have found it brilliant so far, has really improved the appearance and condition of the skin around my eyes and I look nowhere near as wrecked as usual. It was around €20. They are an Irish company and it seems to be stocked in a number of pharmacies around the country, and they have a website aswell I think. Lovely products; I'm actually going into town in a bit to buy more of the range:)

I'm 27 and have mega dark circles, sadly the product of a stressful life and genetics!

The best things that i have found for dark circles are to cover up - bobbi brown under eye corrector with some concealer and powder over it. Or for a lighter look dior skinflash pen, its just like ysl touche eclat but better. my eye cream is dior hydra life eye sorbet and its the best i've ever tried. I used to use bobbi brown hydrating eye cream, it felt lovely but did nothing for the overall appearance of my eyes. I used the no 7 one as well and found it stinged a bit. All the above products are on the pricier side but just my own recommendations

where do you buy it? a local pharmacy?

OP, I've been told that under eye circles are linked to kidney function. I've got horrid purple bags that i can't seem to shake!

No fillefatale, I buy all my guinot products from my beautican. Thats the brand she works with, and she always gives me a load of free little testers. <3

its not an eye cream but benefit boi-ing helps to cover them up or they also have an erase paste in 3 shades if boi-ing does not suit.

Hmm gonna seek out these guniot products.

I too use the BB corrector and concealer and find them great but would like something not make-upy. Good suggestions on the thread.

Ah lucky. I haven't a regular beautician, just the girl I go to to get my eyebrows waxed once in a blue moon when I've let plucking go out the window. She stocks dermatologica though and its expensive.

At the moment I am using Liiv Botanicals, it's a vitalising eye cream with SPF 15. My sister is an Avon repesentitive and suggested it to me while back while it was on sale. (normally 9 euro I got it for 3.50) I have been using it every morning and night for the past three months now and I find it incredible! I feel the skin under my eye getting tight and the dark circles have faded. Highly recommend.

You can buy Guinot in House Of Fraiser Dundrum + Sam McAuley beauty salons. Also Aqua in Stillorgan stocks Guinot

Sorry but no eye cream or gel will get rid of dark circles :( dark circles can be linked to a number of things..most commonly dehydration and hereditary factors..they are also linked to smoking, poor circulation, eating high amounts of processed foods, a high salt diet, lack of sleep and poor kidney/liver function.

You can try lymph drainage massage around your eye sockets.. place your ring fingers on the orbital bone and apply gentle pressure..work inwards towards the nose and the whole way around the eye about 5 times and try this daily..also increase your water intake if possible and reduce caffeine.

There are tinted eye creams you can get to disguise the dark circles and also combat ageing simultaneously..dermalogica do a good 1
