Upgraded to 4.0.1, Now "No Service"?

So I upgraded from 3.1.3 to 4.0.1 on iPhone 3G.

Now when the phone starts it says "Waiting for activation - The may take some time".

I only clicked "Upgrade" in iTunes, did this happen to anyone else?

Any idea how to fix it? How long will it take to activate?

    Thanks,
    Joker

Just did the same upgrade and it took a few secs to activate.

You connected iTunes as it needs to verify ?

Is your phone officially unlocked? If so activation should only take seconds. If not you need an original sim or phonebook sim to activate it.

    Cheers
