First time ever we are invited to a black tie affair. Simples for my husband, rent a tux at the special rate arranged for the wedding guests and away you go!

I dont know where to start ! Am I supposted to wear long? Short? is it ankles covered arms uncovered (read that somewhere!)...

So any ideas would be most welcomed. I am not overly tall either at only 5ft2 ... but sure there is always heels!!

There was a thread on a similar topic a while back, which may be of use to you.

Having spoken to some people and read the thread, it would appear that the time of the wedding, especially the dinner, is vital when deciding what to wear. :)
