Firefox/flash issue?

    This is driving me insane,

Firefox keeps freezing on me, i wouldn't mind if it crashed, but it freezes and there is nothing i can do but restart the computer by pushing the power button.

Ctrl alt delete doesn't even work when it happens.

Sometimes i'm able to minimise it and when this happens no other browser i have will start - IE or Opera.

As i've been typing this it has hung but not froze, with a message saying the flash plugin has crashed.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

I have never had problems with either until i installed the last Firefox update.

Had a lot of issues with Firefox a while ago as well... Updated to the latest version and reinstalled the flash plugins and all was fine.. Alternatively you could download and use Google Chrome which is just as good if not better.

Plugins are great in firefox, they do amazing stuff
Plugins are crap in firefox, they make it slow and buggy

Blame the plugin and not firefox - disable till you figure out the culprit

FEBE - if you want to backup plugins BTW
