Green technology/sustainable development companies

Is there any chance some people could list the names of some green technology companies and/or companies that specialize in sustainable development?

I am a Civ/Struc/Env engineer with limited experience and am looking to work unpaid to get as much experience in this field as possible. The unpaid work would preferably be for 3 or 6 months with the chance of a permanent position afterwards.

    Any help is much appreciated

You might be surprised how hard it is even to find unpaid engineering work...many companies simply dont have enough work to give. Any work they do have will be given to their own engineers who are already only working a 2 or 3 day week. But still - worth a try.
