Fitting Bmw 5 series sport kit

    Hi Guys.
    Does anyone know is it possible to take a normal 05/06 Bmw 5 sereis and get the m sport kit put onto it? Skirts etc?
    And tint the windows.
    Would it be very expensive?
    Excuse my ignorance on the topic!
    In the Midwest would be great

    Yep, check out this page for some examples. It won't be cheap though, and might not help resale value. Though personally I think I would like the look of the MSport model with the SE suspension.

    Could be costly with paint and fitting on top of the cost of parts.....

    It looks like you haven't actually bought a car yet. I'd be patient and wait for one with the right spec, rather than pumping cash into modifying it later.

    Tinted windows can run from 400 up, I think.

    Thanks for the help Guys.
    Just spotted a 530d with tints and Msport kit going for 8k gbp.
    Decent enough mileage too...

    Maybe if i offer him 7kgbp cash, what would he say?
    Does anyone know anything about getting cars checked out in the uk, before i head over to buy?

    alot of people forget when doing this that you need new fog lights and wheel arch liners aswell as the kit. fogs are expensive,genuine ones are 150 each i think. although i got fakes for 35 which are as good if not better. border motor works in strabane do them. ill get there number for you later and a pic of the fogs. also if your 5er is fitted with that efficient dynamics grill flap thing your going to have to remove that.
