    Has anyone who ported to vodafone online had to pay a deposit??

    I think it applies why you select Vodafone PAssport as part of your package. Thats what happened to me anyway - even though Id been with them for years before. De-selected passport and didnt have to leave a deposit.

    Ported over last month, signed up to bill pay last month on line didn't need to give a deposit.

    Got 8 gig iphone 3gs for 119, GF had to pay 149 in the shop.
