I have an idea for a book but low on experience in writing. The proposed book would be a personal development type. I'm OK on content ideas, would software help me manage the process? Would appreciate any tips from anyone familiar with the process.

I'm in the process of ordering Scrivener.
OK it won't write a book for you but little features like the outliner or the corkboard definitely help you organise your ideas.

    Well, it works for me!
