    Hello everyone!

    I've never gambled before, but it seems fun, so I thought I would try and get involved. So, I've setup a log to track my progress. I think I'm going to use a points system, but I'm not sure yet.

    I bet almost exclusively on football, mainly the main leagues and competitions.

    I'd appreciate any replies to this thread, whether it be feedback (positive or negative), discussion of a bet, or a recommendation you may have - I'd love to hear from you.

    Keep in mind though, I'm just betting for fun.

    For my first (ever) bet, I thought I'd go for something relatively straight-forward to build up the bank a little.

    1) Champions League:
    • Anderlecht vs. TNS.
    • Hapoel Tel Aviv vs. FK Aktobe

    I'm going for the double with Paddy Power. 10 Points - Returns 13.39 Points.

    2) Copa Sudamericana:
    • Defensor Sporting vs. Olimpia Asuncion

    I'm also going to back Defensor Sporting at evens on the advice of Ian, who's opinion I hold in high regard. 4 Points - Returns 8 Points.

    Tonight, I decided to go for an accumulator for some fun. It's pretty much all odds-on favourites, so the odds aren't great, but hopefully it'll add a little more profit.

    1) Europa League:
    • Liverpool vs. Rabotnicki -1 Handicap.
    • Juventus vs. Shamrock Rovers
    • Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk vs. FK Spartak Zlatibor Voda
    • Brondby vs. Fk Buducnost Podgorica
    • Sporting Lisbon vs. FC Nordsjaelland

    1) S-League
    • Etoile vs. Woodlands Wellington

    Again, this bet is with Paddy Power. Stake: 10 Points - Returns: 28.48 Points.

    My last bet came in thanks to a last-minute winner from Sporting.

    Profit: 25.87 Points.

    My only bet for the weekend is an accumulator. It's a long shot, but I've only gone with a small stake. I'd like to thank Voltwad for the tip.

    • Saint Patrick's Athletic vs. Drogheda -1 Handicap.
    • Bray Wanderers vs. Sligo Rovers -1 Handicap.
