Identify B-movie.

When i was very young,sometime in the late 70's i remember seeing a trailer on the tv for a horror film.It involved giant rats and chickens and frightened the bejasus out of me when i saw it.I've been curious for years to know what the film was,i wonder does it ring a bell with anyone(and before anyone says it,it wasent Woody Allens Sleeper.)

it's from 1961, but maybe they ran it on TV in the late 70's also.

No,thats not it.I'm pretty sure it was for a movie that was out in the cinema at the time.

Someone must know what it is.There have been films with giant rats and giant chickens before but not too many featuring them both in the same movie surely?

Mystery finally solved after more than 30 years!I looked up the trailer on youtube and thats definetly the one i saw.That film was released in 1976 when i was 2 so how i managed to remember it i dont know.
