A note to any one who is looking for general information about cyclocross, I am starting to build a bit of information about this season and the general Irish Cyclocross scene at:-

    http://www.irishcx.com/

If any one has any information or event details feel free to contact me at oliver.castle@irishcx.com

    Why is it a .com?

    Bit like

    irishxcmtb.com and irishdh.com

Its pretty much impossible to register .ie domain names unless you are a company or a registered charity in that name.

Ah, right, but since you have "irish" in "irishcx", you don't need the .ie.

I would have thought a non-commercial TLD like .net would make more sense, since it's (presumably) non-commercial.

Good luck with the site though!

Great to see a dedicated CX site, it was a pain having to cross-ref the MTB and Road sites when looking for CX stuff (event details, results etc).
