Remove Plates from Scrap Car?

Not sure if this is the correct thread but someone is taking my old banger for scrap this afternoon. Do I remove the plates?

I'm 99% sure the plates stay with the car.
Make sure you get a "end of life certificate".

Theres a section on the registration cert that you fill out to declare it scrapped. Send bthat back to shannon.

the plates are of no importance. MAke sure you sell all the doors, seats wheels etc first otherwise you are just giving money away

they will collect if they think they can make money on it. The actual plates are not the ID of the car and of no importance WHEN IDENTIFYING IT
