I'm waiting for MSc. stuff too. I was told course would start around the 20th September but you will have to wait for the pack which should come around end of this month.

Lectures start 29th September, possibly maybe could perhaps be different for masters though. Try emailing whoever is in charge of the programme.

Alright cheers. Figured it would be 2nd week in Sept, looks to be a late start. Means, I can save more money :)

I'm waiting for my pack too.

BTW, that's last years dates. I've heard 27th for mine but dunno if it's true. It better be!

Sounds about right. 27th is a monday.

It seems very late though compared to some other colleges. I've banking on the 27th now, because I'm not able to househunt until the 11th at least!

Yeah basically whatever the monday of that week usually is. We start a month later than a lot of colleges.

Some(possible most) masters programs start the week before that. The week coinciding with orientation week for the undergrads.

Dcu is always one of the latest colleges for starting back, but it's also the last to finish up for the summer.
Orientation week usually starts the day after the all-ireland football final, so that'd be the 20th of september, with lectures starting the following monday..
First year orientation is carried out over 3 days for some it'll be mon-wed and others it'll be wed-fri, but there's icebreaker events on every evening in the bar and stuff. The information packs will probably be sent out just before you have to register properly... Not sure about freshers, but us oldies will be registering between sept 2nd and 17th :)
