    Hi
I have a new Range Master Classic 90 dual fuel.
When I light the Wok burner it lights fine but as soon as I let go of the knob the flame goes out! In other words the flame will not stay lit.
Any ideas how this can be fixed?
I am asking just in case this is a simple fix before I go back to the retailer or Rangemaster
    Thanks

if you look at your burner, there is a pointy piece of metal coming out of the hob top(if that makes sense).that is an F.F.D(Flame failure device)
Sometimes they are not sitting high enough in the flames and once you let go of the knob the flame cuts out.It may also need to be replaced. One way or another that F.F.D is your problem.Very common fault on most ranges

Yeah we are also planning on getting a rangemaster for our new kitchen. I wouldn't go up the north if you are going to be using gas as their versions aren't fitted with the gas failure feature.

Oh?! Its a saving of €500 going North. Surely the safety featyres come as standard???
