I have applied for a Science & Technology course in NUIG .The course is also run in UL. It is delivered via distance and online learning and on-campus tutorials. Having been out of education for quite some time now ,I would like to chat to someone who has done, or is doing the course.
Topics are :what sort of work load is involved?, the difficulty of assignments, the ability to balance study time with other daily commitments, how many hours per week ,etc etc......
    Can anyone help?

I'am open to correction, but I'd say the Degree obtained from this course would be very general and lacking any kind of academic depth; I heard a NUIG staff member saying as such.

I think full time education would be your best route to studying for a degree.

    Hi All

I'm resurrecting this thread as I've recently been offered a place on the degree for this course. I'm interested in opinions of those who are currently studying or have already completed the course. How was it and how is it regarded as an academic qualification? Also how is this degree regarded from an employer's perspective?

    Thanks
