I dunno if its just me but has anyone else been unhappy in a relationship and wanted to end it but the sheer thoughts of him/ her with someone else can make you almost ill that you stay with that person just so you never have to feel the full effect of that ? i wonder is it that bad in reality ?

i don't know what you mean, what is the fear of the unknown? is this a theoretical question or are you in this situation?

fear of the unknown as in being single for the first time , and how so much changes , ie. parenting alone etc

Take a break for a while. It doesn't have to be long, just until you get your head around it.

I know what you mean op. Some people dont want to be in relationships. But get so hurt at the thought of someone else with them.

Basically, whats happening is the relationship is boring for you. You're not being forfilled. Yet you have feelings for the person :)
If you broke up tomorrow, you'd be all sad and heartbroke.

You know what, If your not happy in the relationship get out of it, i had the same thoughts as you have and its horrible, when we broke up i couldnt stop thinking about it but its got easier with time for me, just blank it out, an ex is an ex for a reason

Bannedforbeingbold using unreg posting to get around a forum ban is abusing it
and we can and will extend your ban from this forum if you do so again.

It's either a case of dog in the manger or too good to leave too bad to stay.
