I'm looking for some help from any of the experts here who may have some industry knowledge.

Due to changing circumstances, I require a vehicle with 7 seats. Despite the fact that there are a number of excellent MPVs out there at the moment, my current favoured option is a new Hyundai Santa Fe. I have been holding back on the purchase because I am aware that a revised version of it is due out at some stage.

Does anyone know when Ireland will be getting the revised model? It has been on sale in the UK since earlier this year. Cosmetically, the difference isn't huge but my understanding is that the gearbox is changes from 5 to 6 gears and there is significantly more bhp available.

There have been recent reviews in the papers of the revised Kia Sorrento due out this autumn (with the same engine). But there has been no coverage yet of the Santa Fe. I presume that the delay can mostly be traced back to stock left over from the disastrous sales year of 2009.

Is anyone aware of an imminent release?
