Does anyone know if anyone in Ireland stocks these? Tried the usual suspects; Waltons/X-Music/Musicmaker/Marcus Music. I can get one in the UK or Europe handily enough but I want to play one before I purchase.

It might be tough to get a dealer in ireland who stocks a bongo. If xmusic dont have them then i doubt any other dealer in ireland would have them.
Im a musicman guitar player myself and have bought in the past 3 years from the uk.I know the uk distributors of EBMM so i could find out who has one in stock if your interested i might be able to get you a good price.

I played one in the Belfast Guitar Emporium a while back. Could be worth checking out.

Thanks for the replies. I'll contact the Guitar Emporium. Rather play one first hand than splash out and chance it!

EDIT: Seems that place is gone.

I bought one from basscentral.com in Florida without ever playing one. I wasn't disappointed...

theres a new music shop on lower liffey street (opposite gamesworkshop) and i think the owner is trying to get (might already have it) music man stuff in and be the distributer or somthing. worth popping in and asking any way.

EBMM main dealer is on England. You can contact them to find out what basses they've sent to Ireland. You'll find there are very few Bongo's in Ireland, I'd say no more than 1-2.

I got mine in the USA, which have plenty of stock. Most online stores in Europe don't have them in stock and will order it for you. Best bet is to source for the USA for value and range.
