Lorena is dead for sure, as she was casually Bye, bye, so long. And she left her messy death all over Bill. Blood everywhere, Sookie kept on with their plan to leave with Bill in tow. Debbie came back for some V, and one of the reasons she’d broken up with Alcide was because he wouldn’t give her a baby. Aw, poor skanky Debbie. Feel any empathy for her after that reveal? Yea, me neither. She also promised to hunt down Alcide, so we know she’ll be back.

On the road, Sookie in a van with Bill isn’t safe because she lures him to drink from her arm and he goes crazy and can’t stop (he was binging!) When Tara opens the van to see Sookie looking dead, she shoves Bill into the light (leaving him for certain death) they rush Sookie to the Hospital. Considering he left Tara to die in that house. Is it any wonder Tara is pissed at him?

Interesting stuff happened at the hospital, where we learned that Sookie has no blood type, even though Jason does. Jason mentions that Sookie’s never even really gotten sick.
While we don’t know the secret of Sookies blood, Hadley whispered it to Eric. So now the show will dangle that over us in an annoying, drawn-out way. Great.

Sam had a busy episode. He went after his brother, infiltrating the dog fighting circuit to save Tommy. He told Jolie off, stating “You’re just a scared man in saggy underpants, with no discernible life-skills whatsoever.” But you know we haven’t seen the end of that storyline yet.

    Jason
He is still on his “high” from meeting Crystal and just won’t let that go. He wants to find out more about her, so what does he do? He goes to “interrogate” the guy he put in prison of course. Hilarious! Oh and it doesn’t stop there, Jason also goes to ask Lafayette to get him (no not V that was the first season) but some meth. Wow, just wow. There are no words. Yet I love watching him each week.

    Hoyt
We didn’t get to see Jessica this episode, but we did see a bit of Hoyt. And turns out he has a new girlfriend… maybe. I gotta say though, I don’t find Hoyt as interesting without Jessica. And for that matter, I wish they would give Jessica more to do this season than to randomly glamour and bite people.

    Sam
I’ve been liking Sam a lot this season. And in this episode we found out that he apparently has a way with dogs even when he is in human form. I also love the fact that he is taking care of his little brother. I wonder where that story will go, because you know his parents won’t let that go without a fight.

    Eric
Eric finally finds out what is so special about Sookie, which has him quite surprised. Of course we still don’t know what the big deal is. But the fact that the Queen was willing to sacrifice her human to keep the secret makes me think it’s something big. Hopefully we’ll find out before the end of the season. And in other news, Eric finally rescued Pam, yay!

    Alcide
Now that we know Joe Manganiello has been made a regular cast member, it’s kind of exciting to find out what his character does now because you know it won’t end there. Case in point Alcide shot Cooter right in the face and I have a feeling his ex Debbie won’t be letting that one go anytime soon.

    Tara
All I have to say is that Sookie is lucky to have a badass friend like Tara who can bust you out of a vampire mansion.

    Sookie and Bill
But of course, the biggest and best part of tonight’s episode was all about Sookie and Bill. First, Sookie finally killed Lorena, She was seriously getting on my nerves with her obsession with Bill.
Bill, on the verge of death, went crazy and started feeding on Sookie to the point that he put her in the coma.

Even weirder, while unconscious, Sookie goes in some weird after-life type of place where people seem to be dancing, drinking water from a really, really, really deep pond, as well as swimming in it. And while we’re not sure what that was all about, we do know that Bill arriving in the hospital cast a shadow on the place forcing everyone to flee inside the pond. I’m guessing that all of it is related to Sookie different, but how?

    Cliffhanger
And finally, we end on another cliffhanger this week, well I would say sort of two cliffhanger. On the one hand Sookie wakes up after Bill gave her his blood and once again starts screaming, although we’re not sure if she’s screaming at Bill or something else in the room. On the other hand, we get the King of Mississippi beheading the Magister, which I guess will not be the end of it. I mean someone’s going to be unhappy, it’s pretty much guaranteed.

Here’s a tally of the situations that could have resulted in death, and how they panned out:
Bill left in the sun: not dead
Sookie in a coma: not dead
    Lorena in the barn: dead
    Cooter in then barn: dead
    Pam at Fangtasia: not dead
    Magister at Fangtasia: dead
Tommy at the dog fight: not dead
Debbie in the barn: not dead

An absolute cracker of an episode this week. Cannot wait for the next one!
Bill looked really different after Tara threw him into the sunlight. He didn't burn up as fast.

So Sookie. An angel? The child of angels?
I want to know damn it.

Jason: Didn't think I was smart enough to get depressed. lol

Best line so far! Gotta love the writers...

Well, thank God Eric finally got around to rescuing Pam.:D

Bill - so not the most fun vamp to have around during the daytime. Waste of a cool ability really! Kinda redeemed himself with the saving of Sookie/staking of Lorena eventhough he then drained the girl.

Sookie - at least she is finally getting the message that Bill is not a good guy:rolleyes: And she has a new supernatural friend... The little sojourn in the coma reality raised a lot of questions as to her true nature. I'd have gotten in the pond Sookie!

LaFayette - always a rock of sense.

Sam, etc... - Good to see that storyline starting to get resolved.

Hoyt/Jessica - missed Jessica this episode. Maybe Hoyt & Jessica are not meant to work. You can clearly see he wants a wife and kids and he won't have any of that with my fave vamp:(

Pam - good to have her back. Taunting the magister was funny & Eric telling her to calm it down until they knew his fate...

Tara - excellent work kicking Bill out. I'd have been annoyed too if someone I thought was dead walked in the door;)

Sophie Ann - How was she a queen to begin with???? Seems to not do much at the moment.

Russell - there's a good reason he is king. The way he swapped Pam for the Magister on the table was pretty cool. Dunno how Eric will tackle him really.

Eric - tried to emotionally blackmail the Queen, found out the Sookie secret, had a bit of a feed, rescued his progeny, witnessed the magister's execution, still plotting his revenge... Busy episode for him. Don't know how he's going to sort out Russell.

    What did Hadley tell Eric?

Oh and Debbie! Lest we forget she is so out for revenge:D Thank God they killed the stupid head werewolf - he was painful.

The next 5 episodes are going to be crazy!

Another great episode. This season has been fantastic so far. Was surprised they killed Lorena off but glad to see the b!tch get what she deserved!

Things are really heating up now!

Seems like Sookie's blood made Bill be able to withstand sunlight for a brief time. More clues! Maybe she has the ability to turn vampires back into human's or something.. Hopefully that doesn't lead to a cheesey Bill & Sookie riding off into the sunlight when the show ends! Her weird little coma world was odd. She better not turn out to be a fairy or something ****e like that! I like the angel idea though.

When Sam was taking his brother with him, did his bro and mother exchange a sort of "it's working!" glance? I'm sure they're gonna turn out to be *****, just hopefully not the brother too though.

Great season so far, can't believe how consistently high quality all the episodes have been!

Loved it. It's like reading a good book, you want to get to the end but you don't want it to end. I feel like this all the time watching each episode this Season.

Clearly Sookie's blood did do something to Bill which gave him longer protection from the Sun.

When Sam was in the ring with the other dog I think he just knew he wasn't just a human and that's why he ran off.

So glad Eric saved Pam and it was touching to see his concern for her.

What did Hadley tell Eric, hmmm..... and I'm wondering did Eric feed blood to Hadley to heal her or turn her?

I won't say too much about Sookie's world while she was in the coma as I've read the books, so I'm off there now to discuss!!

Thought that was a great episode.I reckon Sookie's blood can turn a vampire back into human form, but drinking the amount required would kill her.Might be something like that anyway.Interested to see what happens with the Magister's death though, that could be interesting

good episode. not as good as the last one though imo. was shorter by about 10 mins as well.

Sookie frolicking in the garden was kinda weird. hope they reveal what's so special about her this season and not drag into the next.

i'm getting really sick of Jason and Hoyt. i almost skipped over their storylines, cos i just find it so boring. i'd prefer the series just sticking with Sookie.

Hoyt is better when Jessica is around.....man what I wouldn't do to that girl..........fnar fnar....

Jason is a lovable dope. He is there for comic relief really. I like the pace of the show I must say. I'm loving Eric and hope he gets his vengeance on the King.

I guess Sookie can make vampires daywalkers.

Woohoo what another great episode! Can't believe the King and Queen didn't have a big wedding lol
I bet Sookies blood will be able to turn vampires back to humans, that's why Bill is so interested in her. Anyone else think this?

I forgot to ask as well, is Franklin really dead? I hope not. Maybe we'll find out in the next episode.

I doubt it , there wasn't enough closure and it all happened too fast - I bet he will return when Tara's on her own or something :)

The Episodes are getting better and better , I loved the whole fairy world situation , especially all that talk about "the light" and Claudine's warning.

I dont think Sookie's blood can convert vampires to humans.. I think her blood is special but sort of like V , as in it only works temporarily!

We need more Jessica though! I thought something was gonna happen with her and Tommy a few epsidoes back

I thought that was his plan, but I'm not so sure any more. The King is far too powerful, and why would Eric still care about his human parents that dies a thousand years ago, he hasn't shown any care for humans since then. Maybe he actually thinks working under Russell could be good for him.

I thought that too, but then Bill did start smoking before he ran off.

He didn't explode like Lorena did, did he? So he might not be dead after all. That could be good if he's still alive, and comes after Tara.

The garden of nymphness looks like a meeting place for all the empaths like Sookie, and they all seem to know that vampires are bad too. Hope we get to find out for sure what it is about Sookie that everyone's so interested in. It does seem likely now that Bill has ulterior motives in wanting her.

    :D

Great episode, didn't want it to end, as someone already stated every episode has been of such a high quality. Hope it keeps at the pace it's currently going at.

How many episodes to the season?

Sookie very pointedly told Tara what vampires look like when they are dead (Lorena goo). That was definite foreshadowing that Franklin will be back, Tara was just too anxious to get away that she didn't quite register what it meant.

    Great episode,

I thought the best of the season. Sookies reaction to bill when she came out of the coma was expected after what she was told.

    The story is getting interesting!!!
Can't wait for the next episode!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 393 ✭✭beegirl

If it turns out that Sookie is an angel or a fairy or something equally corny I will be very annoyed!!!! That scene was a bit naff... All good otherwise though :)

P.S. I realise I'm behind... Can't wait to see the rest!!!
