Transfering all info from old 3gs (fw3.1.3.) onto new iPhone 4

    Just a quick question to all the people who picked up there iPhone 4's on Friday.

    I'll be picking one up soon, but I'm currently using a 3gs running fw3.1.3.

    If I get a new iPhone 4 can I backup my 3gs on 3.1.3 and transfer that backup onto the new iPhone 4? Or do I have to update the 3gs to ios 4 then backup??

    Firmware doesnt matter. Just synch 3gs with itunes, disconnect,then plug in new 4, synch it back.
    Phone is great btw!
