    Hi,

recently switched from o2 to meteor and upgraded my Iphone3g to ios4. I noticed that my voicemail wasnt working. Got onto Meter and they gave me the codes for voicemail - which worked.

But now I have this really annoying pop up 'call forwarding active - dismiss' when making calls and another 'incoming call forwarded - dismisss' when receiving calls. Call forwarding is not swithched on on the iphone.

I tried the **0028* code, although that worked , it also wipes the voicemail settings...

    Can anyone help!!! Please!!

I had the same issue on 3, but the recent iTunes carrier settings update fixed it.

Since Meteor don't officially deal with Apple, you might be waiting a while for a Meteor carrier settings update to come down the tubes...

Taken from a vodafone settings thread on here but still works for any iPhone:

Removing the "call forwarding" pop up message

    1. Tap the phone button.
    2. Enter ##002#.
    3. Press Call.

Worked for my factory unlocked iphone on meteor!

Tried the ##002# call code, this does get rid of the pop ups, but it also wipes the voicemail settings.

When i re enter the meteor voicemail settings the bloody pop ups return. Around around in circles I go.

My iphone3g is a legitimate unlock from o2 and switched to meteor.

is there ANY way i can get rid of the pop ups AND have voicemail (on meteor)

how did ya set the voicemail
    *5005*86*YOURVOICEMAILNUMBER#
that code programs the number to the voicemail number

    meteor gave me these codes

    **67*0865xxxxxxx*#
    **61*0865xxxxxxx*#
    **62*0865xxxxxxx*#

but when I use them the pop up return!!

    You have three options:

    1. Have voice mail turned on and get the message
    2. Turn voice mail diverts off
    3. Install a carrier bundle for Meteor that turns off the notifications.

Is your iPhone jailbroken, OP? If not, now's the time to do so.. You can disable that annoying pop-up message by downloading a script from Cydia. I'm not 100% sure on what it was called, I'll get the name to you and let you know tonight if you'd like.

no the phone isnt jailbroken - just unlocked from O2 and switched to meteor.

If I jailbrake and change settings - then reload ios4 through itunes (un jailbrake if you like) would that work.

no because upgrading removes the jailbreak, there is a meteor carrier file available on cydia

it dissapears when you put the phone up to your ear, the sensors inside know your making a call and hence get rid of the pop up automatically.

Bought my 3GS factory unlocked to use with Meteor and I set it up by using this:

    Voicemail

    1. Click on your iPhone's phone button.
    2. Then click on the Keypad tab.
    3. You need to then add the following code: *5005*86*xxx#. Here xxx would be your voicemail number.
    4. After entering the code you tap call.

Removing the "call forwarding" pop up message

    1. Tap the phone button.
    2. Enter ##002#.
    3. Press Call.

I dont get the pop up and the voicemail icon dials 171.

    when I try this

    Voicemail

    1. Click on your iPhone's phone button.
    2. Then click on the Keypad tab.
    3. You need to then add the following code: *5005*86*171#. Here 171 is my voicemail number.
    4. After entering the code tap call.

it doesnt work - when I tap call - nothing happens just a very momentary 'blink' on the screen then back to the keypad with the code showing and the call button green

    I'm confused!!

It says in cydia that those meteor carrier settings are only for OS 3.1.x

Is there a version for ios4?

Sorry for digging up an older thread, but I'm also curious about this (I'm on meteor).

Some people have suggested to use ##002#. This works because it disables all call forwarding. See the meteor page here. In other words, no one will be able to leave a voicemail message if they can't get through to you, if your phone rings out, if your out of coverage or if you're taking a call. So this isn't much a solution.

I've done a lot of searching and haven't been able to come up with anything else though. Anyone else have any ideas?

any idea how to turn your voicemail back on?
i used the ##002# code to get rid of the pop up but the phone then rings for over a minute before being killed off and as the poster above says, no option to leave a voicemail :(
