The eflow website says the M50 toll is between Junctions 6 and 7.
If I came on the M50 from the N4 at Junction 7, and headed southbound, did I pass through the toll, or did I just miss it?

I was driving on the M50 for the first time last night, and not sure if I passed the toll bridge. The eflow website cant tell me if I have any toll to pay, but if I dont it will be counted as a prepayment against my next trip

indeed.Would it not be fairer to have equipment on every on-slip so that everyone pays?

Their is a big blue sign crossing all lanes, so you would spot it when you drive under it. Their is also markings on the lanes that say 'Toll' in a white circle.

No, as the toll only ever applied to pay for the construction of the high level bridges over the Liffey between J6 and J7, and not the rest of the road, which was paid for by the exchequer. It now applies to pay for buying out the existing operator so that barrier-free tolling could be introduced.

    Corktina, I'm shocked at you!:D

As MYOB has explained, its the bridge that was always the issue, although I do remember the preliminary construction that took place on the Redcow slips in the late 80s, when Charlie wanted to charge for the entire use of what was a very short M50.

It could have be so very worse.
