Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Comic Jerry Sadowitz backs mum's quest to find truth behind son's death

Aug 1 2010 Marion Scott and Mike Larkin, Sunday Mail

MAGICIAN Jerry Sadowitz is backing a mother's campaign to find the truth about the death of her son after a row with rocker Pete Doherty.

Mark's grieving mum Sheila, 65, does not believe her son jumped and wants justice for his death. And Sadowitz is backing her by selling the secrets of one of his famous card tricks.

He said: "All funds will go to help her fund the fight."

Sadowitz, 48, who will auction the secret at a show in the Bloomsbury Theatre in London, added: "If you knew what a brilliant guy Mark was, you'd come without me asking.

"He was a magician, a philosopher, comedian, poet, novelist, chef and all round force of nature."

Scots comic Sadowitz insisted Mark suffered from vertigo. He said: "I knew him well and know he'd never have done such a thing as jumping.

"I don't think Mark had taken full account of the people who were at the party, who included drug addicts.

"I think they had taken a dislike to the fact that he was middle class and well-spoken and they started teasing him."
