childproof caps!

I am so sick of them. I have a bottle of children's ibuprofin that I nearly killed myself trying to open. And i still cant open it. I had to take a sharp edge and work a hole through the top if it.

Is this a manufactures choice or some kind of eu regulation?

You mean the one where you squeeze the two sides and twist?

I did do that. It didnt twist.

first, a couple of obvious notes...
-make sure you are an adult,
-remove the factory seal around the cap

like autocann says, read the instructions.

try and avoid using your teeth, only Alsatians do that.

If all these fail, you will have to cut through it with a knife or something.

I've had that problem too, Metrovelvet, and it's nothing to do with not knowing how to open it - believe me I bloody well do having been a parent for nearly 10 years!

It's probably because thousands of these bottles are being produced at a time, a fault is likely to develop with an odd bottle somewhere along the line.
