aberdeen angus bonus

we bought 2 aa heifers about 18 months ago for a couple of nephews of ours. now they are within a couple of months of finishing and i was just wondering is the aberdeen angus scheme open to all or do u have to be a regular producer of aa stock. i heard there is an extra 5 or 6 p per lb to b got? all comments appreciated thanks

you have to be registered with the bord bia quality assurance scheme to get in to the angus thingy....

http://www.angusproducergroup.com/html/membership.html you pay a once off fee and if you have 25 cattle and sell 10 this week they only take so much off the cheque and take the rest as they get all the numbers but if you only have tenn then they take it all out obviously.
