Take the family and See Dublin by DART

The DART is one of the quickest ways to get you around the city, linking Dublin’s north to south city via the scenic route of Dublin Bay. There are so many interesting places you can enjoy along the way from historic towns and coastal villages to picturesque harbours and also beautiful coastal scenery.

From Saturday 24th July until Tuesday 31st August Iarnród Éireann have reduced the One Day DART Family Ticket from €14.30 to €10.00.

The One day DART family ticket is valid for one day’s unlimited travel for one or two adults and up to 4 children under 16 years of age.

This promotion is only available at booking offices.

Sounds good until you compare it with a travelcard in London. There, for £5.60 an adult can travel all day (after 09.30) with any children under 11 on all the Tubes AND Buses in Zone 1&2! Children 11-16 £2.
The Dart will have to do better than that to impress.

This isn't London though and unfortunately we don't have integrated travel like they do... so, all in all it is a bargain alert for Ireland.

And you wont get to see many historic towns, coastal villages, picturesque harbours or beautiful scenery in Zone 1 and 2 in London.
