I'm looking for some advice on buying a new wardrobe, I'm aiming
to look young but chic and feminine. I'm late teens size 10 looking
for smart casual college wear and some nice going out outfits any
input, suggestions greatly appreciated as the advice on here is always
great. Not really interested in online shopping thanks a mill!

Go to places like A-wear,River Island,Zara,New Look etc etc.

I'd advise New Look and A-wear if you're on a budget or Exhibit either, some nice things in there too, even Penneys has a few gems!
I'm late teens aswell and that's where I shop mostly.:)

New look has lovely clothes, also try zara for some chic items while still cheap :)

Go into Topshop/Zara/Miss Selfridge and look at the mannequins to see what they're wearing if you want to be on trend.

If you're on a budget trying hitting up the last of the sales in the shops all mentioned above.

I'd recommend investing in 2 good pairs of jeans, if it was me I'd get 1 skinny pair and 1 skinny flared pair. Jeans are so versatile, you can wear them out, to college, anywhere! I personally love RI for jeans, although they are a little expensive for my babysitting budget :P Some don't love them as much, I also got a great pair of jeans in A-wear that fitted me really well fr 30 euro which is a good price! I ripped them on a trampoline though :( After you have your jeans down I'd get about 3 nice tops, not just plain ones, some ones you'd wear to college or whatever, a few cheapy plain string tops or whatever in penneys, a black cardie, a grey cardie and a white cardie (or whatever colours you'd wear that would match a lot of things), a pair o' winter boots :) and some pumps maybe? And then 2 going out outfits. This may be pushing the budget, but this would be my idea of a great base for a new wardrobe! You'd build it up with skirts and new bits you pick up along the way, too.

Thanks a million for that, great advice should focus on investing in some key pieces any
further advice would be much appreciated.

Oh and a good blazer-y or kinda short jacket would be good too. I have a khaki green one, it's great to just throw on with jeans and a plain top as it has some detail and nice buttons on it. Especially good if you're not a fan of cardigans and stuff and great in the horrible humid weather we always have so you're not sweating all over the place :P
